Aaren’s Robotic Hysterectomy

I had my hysterectomy due to cervical cancer, endometriosis, a tilted uterus, ovarian cysts, you name I! I suffered for 15 yrs because I wasn’t “old enough” to consider surgery and my local OB was awful. I tried every drug imaginable, birth control that sent me to the ER with chest pain, Lupton, which made me psycho, and when the enforcement attached to my kidneys, ureter and basically tied up my GI tract I’d finally had enough.

I went to three different doctors. The third was in a bigger city and was wonderful…the first two were “afraid to touch it” surgically and wanted to wait and see. When I was unable to pee normally, I called a specialist, who I adore. She treated me like she understood and gave me my life back.

I’m so happy I took matters into my own hands and sought help. Always follow your gut.

Wonderful hospital experience. Two days there with an amazing staff. General anesthesia.

My recovery was great. I listened to my doctor and didn’t over do it and was able to return to work in 4 wjs!

I’m so happy I had surgery. I can pee again, and the removal of endo actually fixed other things in my abdomen…all of my digestive issues were from the scar tissue. I kept one ovary and am on ZERO medications now.

Consider YOUR quality of life. If you have a gut feeling something is wrong, it probably is…and if your Dr. won’t listen or support you, fire her and go to someone who gets it. I wasted 15 yrs listening to my OBGYN tell me I was too young and to basically toughen up. Don’t do that to yourself. You have to be your own advocate.
