I had my surgery because of two very large fibroids on my cervix that was causing severe backache, heavy and long periods. I suffered for a year and six months. I saw three doctors before I choosing surgery, but the fibroids were getting larger and I started getting shooting pain down my right leg.

My surgery lasted 45 minutes and was a success.  I stayed three days at the hospital and while there, the doctors and nurses we very caring.

I am still recovering and am still being very careful in my daily activities.  My healing process is amazing, I’m not worried at all and I am very happy about the decision I made. Six weeks after my surgery my doctor gives me the all clear.

Since my surgery, my health is excellent, my health improved 100%.

The advice that I’d share with other women is that if there’s no other option but surgery, go right ahead and have the surgery done.  Ask your doctor a lot of questions, do a lot of research and relax your mind, try not to stress yourself and everything is going to be alright!
